CODA Logo

The Colorado Offset Drain Attachment is a multi-piece system used to relocate shower drains when remodeling. It's primary users are tile setters and plumbers and a small percentage of DIY'ers.

When designing the logo we wanted to convey the brand as trustworthy, durable, and efficient. To do this we started by looking at classic tool and material brands from the 1950's to 1980's. After researching and drafting, we decided that bold lettering and simple shapes gave the logo the strongest look. The shape below the CODA lettering mimics the shape and design of the CODA system and similarly to the CODA attachment, fits between the layers of the logo as the CODA attachment fits between the layers of a shower pan and waterproofing.

This logo has been used on the product, packaging, and all materials taken to the 2022 Coverings Trade show. We will be returning to Coverings with the CODA team for their 2023 show.

The Colorado Offset Drain Attachment website needed to cater to the main buyers of the product: Tile Setters, Plumbers, Contractors, and DIYers. To do this we highlighted the main selling points of the product such as its versatility, ease of installation, cost of installation.

The site continues to grow as we feature new content such as marketing materials, interviews, and video content.

CODA Marketing

All marketing materials feature CODA's 3 primary colors: blue, white, and black. All designs are simple as to not distract readers with flashy graphics and keep the focus on the information about the product.

Marketing materials continue to be created as the need arises for projects such as: updated trade show signage, retail display materials, updated flyers and infographics, and more.

CODA - Coverings

We have attended Coverings 2022 and 2023 with the CODA team. Both events have generated massive brand awareness and interest. The 2022 event in Las Vegas, NV introduced the world to the CODA system and caught the attention of individuals and major corporations.

The 2023 event informed many returning attendees and new attendees that CODA is in the final stages of production and orders will soon be able to be fulfilled. Pre-orders began at the show and CODA will soon be available in all 50 states and carried in store in some areas.

We will also accompany CODA to the TISE Surfaces show in January of 2024 as well as the Coverings show in Atlanta in June 2024.

CAYAC Website

CAYAC (Cortez Area Youth Activity Center) is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing all ages of children the opportunity to grow through learning. This may be in the form of gymnastics, martial arts, dance, cheer, and soon; art, outdoor, and sports activities.

In designing CAYAC's website we wanted to create a fun atmosphere that would be easy to navigate by interested students and parents alike. We worked closely with the owner and founder to determine an appropriate color scheme and brand design that fit with the existing Logo.

In addition, we created custom animations for sections of the website that animate as the page is scrolled. We also created graphics to be used. As always we started from scratch, using no pre-built templates. For an organization and mission as unique as CAYAC, we believe the design should be just as unique.

CAYAC Web App

We assisted in the development and design of a web app for the Cortez Area Youth Activity Center to collect payments for class fees and additional costs such as uniforms and gear.

The app was seamlessly integrated into the CAYAC website to provide a fast and easy payment process for the parents of CAYAC students.

We are currently furthering the development of this app to provide a hub of information for youth activities in Montezuma and La Plata County.

Oh. Z Logo

The Oh. Z logo will continue to change as each new merch drop is released. The first logo is reminiscent of a popular sports drink you may know...

Each new merch release will feature a new logo that also takes its inspiration from a popular brand. Each brand will be easily recognized if you grew up during its popularity.

Trailwood Logo

The Trailwood Foundation offers Victim Advocates and advocate based organizations a path to grant funding and resources. This is reflected in their logo which pays homage to the landscape the operate.

The logo is detailed but remains simple by the use of greyscale colors. This was done to create a neutral stance and professional look.

Trailwood Website

The Trailwood Foundation caters to Victim Advocates. The main goal of Advocates is to help those they serve to the best of their ability, which can be tough as most Advocate agencies rely heavily on grant funding.

Our main goal with the Trailwood website was to emphasize this desire to help others and show that the Trailwood Foundation has hands-on experience doing just that. The color scheme was chosen to be warm and inviting as well as trustworthy. Text and images we're kept minimal. The simplicity of the site allows for Advocates to easily find the information they are looking for as fast a possible within their busy schedules.

We also included e-commerce to sell Advocate-based gifts such as t-shirts and mugs.

Trailwood Marketing

The main leads for Trailwood are government employees and Victim Advocates (including their agency managers). Because of this, all Trailwood materials include extremely minimal design elements to keep the focus on the statistics and content they include. People in this field care most about their clients and how they can better serve them. Time wasted is not something they can afford and when designing marketing materials this was at the forefront of our decision making process.
